The Alexander

Art and mathematics, often seen as separate realms, are deeply intertwined in the vision for The Alexander Hotel. Inspired by Alexander Ralston’s poetic, geometric plan for Indianapolis and the hotel’s extensive art collection, the design reflects the golden mean and the grandeur of European capitals. The hotel blends rhythmic, balanced forms with eclectic global influences and nods to Indiana’s natural landscape and Midwest traditions. Guests are welcomed into a richly layered environment that fosters discovery, connection, and exploration.
